Pros:
  • Touch-screen
  • 5 hours and 30 minutes of battery life
Cons:
  • Not for serious gaming

First of all, don't expect too much for an Ultrabook. That said, it is designed for portability, not for gaming. If you need to work at everywhere, meet with clients, present your products to customers, then you should go for a touch-screen Ultrabook. By just touching the screen, you can actually tap out the whole message and hit the send" button easily even if you are cramped at a bus station waiting line.

Pros:

Great price for an Ultrabook
At under $800, it is considered cheap for an Ultrabook that comes along with the touch-screen function. Business user can present their power-point slides easily to their clients with a few touches.

Plenty of storage
There's about 500GB of hard drive space for you to store your files whether for work or school work. You system files will be installed on the 32GB of Solid State Drive. SSD will let you boot up the Ultrabook and launch apps faster.

Good for average multi-tasking
The Sony T Series SVT13134CXS comes with 4GB of RAM. In our opinion, it is more than enough for you to run several programs at the same time without lags. By all means, you can't multi-task exessively. That said, it should be suffice if you are running purely for some productivity applications such as Microsoft Word, Google Chrome and Outlook. If you need more power for multi-tasking, you should look at the Sony VAIO T Series SVT13136CXS Review

Island style of keyboard and multi-gesture keypad
The keyboard and keypad on the Sony SVT13134CXS works exactly similar to the Apple MacbookPro. It comes with the island style of keyboard. Honestly, keyboard isn't a big issue for us. The highlight is that the multi-gesture keypad. We love to use the multi-gesture keypad because we don't need a mouse anymore. You can pinch to zoom in/out on a picture or use two fingers to scroll the page. This makes life easier a lot.

Great processing power for casual and business user
The 3rd Gen of Intel Core i3 is more than enough for casual user to run their everyday programs such as Outlook, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer. If you are not playing game or running some designing software, then Intel Core i3 processor should suffice.

Excellent peripherals:
There is a HDMI port on this Ultrabook. We can just hook it up to a HDTV or monitor when we want to see things bigger. For connectivity, there is a port respectivly for USB 2.0 and USB 3.0. What makes the USB 3.0 port special is that its transfer speed is 10 times faster than the USB 2.0. port. You can transfer a 100GB movie in 30 seconds! Another thing is that you can charge your devices even when the Sony T Series SVT13134CXS is in sleep mode or shut down.

Portable:
At 13" it is designed for those travelers or business users that want a protable Ultrabook. It is thin and light, makes it fit into the bag easily..

Rapid wake up from hibernation:
One of the main features on this Ultrabook is that it is able to resume from sleep mode rapidly, within 2 seconds! When finish using, you just need to close the lid and it will go to sleep mode. Just open the lid and it resumes rapidly.

Cons:
As we mentioned, don't expect to play advanced game on the Ultrabook. However, the integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000 allows you to play games like Diablo3, Pro Evolution and NBA 2k13. Its just that you can't play games that need high graphic requirement.

All in all, the Sony VAIO T Series SVT13134CXS gives you a touch-screen experience if you are getting used to tablets. It lets you to run most of the basic and productivity software that you need to accomplish for your work. At under $800, you can't find anything that can beat this.
